A love of the outdoors was the driving force behind my fishing history.  My Grandparents had a cabin in the Henry's Fork area of Idaho while I was growing up.  As long as I can remember, my brother and I explored that area top to bottom with either a small spinning rod and some Panther Martins or on an old Honda 90 too heavy to pick up if it fell over.  My fly fishing career didn't start until I was in my 20's.  Once I picked up a fly rod, though, I wanted to pick up another... and another...then a two hander...and so on.  

 

It is still a love of the outdoors that brought me to guiding.  I enjoy working outside and sharing my love of nature with my clients through fishing.  I feel very fortunate to be in this industry along with my husband, Dan Hurzeler.  Together, we have lived and worked in some beautiful country.  And, I've enjoyed fishing a Scott single handed or two handed rod in all of them!
