A USCG Licensed/Insured/ Inspected Captain, Brian Mezaros served with the U.S. 7^th Group Special Forces. Capt. Brian was the original fly fishing guide on Lake St. Clair and has nearly 25 years guiding experience on this amazing body of water- which has been named as one of the "Top 100 Fly Fishing Destinations in the World”.   Capt. Brian was also one of the first fly fishing guides in the nation to target muskellunge on a regular basis.  He has been instrumental in the development of both equipment and flies for this apex freshwater predator, working with several top fly fishing companies, including Scott Fly Rods.

Lake St. Clair is considered by many as the best fishery anywhere for both smallmouth bass and musky.  Mezaros spends over 200 days a year here chasing these and other warm water species.   In the off season, Capt. Brian gives many presentations and programs to fly fishing clubs and at shows across the region.  He has been featured in numerous fly fishing periodicals and books, as well as on both radio and television shows for his in-depth knowledge of Lake St. Clair and warm water fly fishing skills.
