Water and rivers have always been a big part of Zeke’s life and passion. Growing up a short walk from

the confluence of the Wenatchee river with the Columbia river in Washington State helped fuel his first

fishing passions. It was at this spot that he caught his first fish on a fly rod, and achieved many other

fishing milestones of his early age. Dreams of fishing the Rocky Mountains, moved Zeke to Colorado,

where he started to refine his fly fishing and pursue a career in guiding. In 1997 Zeke started a small

guide service and fly shop, which he operated and owned for seventeen years. Ready to get back to his

roots of guiding, Zeke sold his business in 2014 and took the job of head guide for Trouts Fly Fishing

in Frisco Colorado. Drift fishing is Zeke’s specialty and passion, guiding on the Colorado, Roaring Fork

and Eagle for 21 years, there’s not many people out there that know these rivers quite as well as Zeke.

Dialing in his fishermen’s skills and picking apart a river is what Zeke prides himself in. Scott Fly Rods
